Lisa's Haiku

Nature Haiku

Mountains of grandeur,
The beauty of gentle strength
Inner peace is found.
Rolling clouds approach -
The parched earth and grass will drink.
Soon the rains will come.
Rays of sunlight beam
Radiance bright, ride dark clouds
Glory overhead.

Black-eyed Susans bold.
Youth abounds in fields of gold,
Fond memories when old.
  Cute as a button
Two sea otters pose sweetly
on their way to play.

Exquisitely lit
paths links exotic tunnels.
Mystery awaits!

Turtles on a rock
Pretending to be their kin
on Galapagos
Morning dew beacons,
Walk along a garden path,
a red rose greets thee.

Winter survival -
Prowress of the white mountain
Preparing to pounce.

Isolated woods
break through to cool damp caverns
crystal waters fall

African green veldt
Giraffes and zebras teeming
We're on safari.

The road to lone thoughts
lies along a leaf-strewn path
lined with tall bare trees.

Rose in a Vase

Scarlet blooms rise tall
amidst a wash of green leaves.
Roses for my love

Evening sunset moon
Bright shining through pink storm clouds
Lofty winds call rain.
