What is Animal Crossing?

Animal Crossing is a real-time RPG type game for the Nintendo Gamecube. It's rather difficult to explain exactly what Animal Crossing is, so to get a bit of an idea visit the What is Animal Crossing? page on Nintendo's official Animal Crossing site.  The best community is ACC, or the Animal Crossing Community. The game can expand to allow hookup with the Game Boy Advance, and also works with the e-card reader. Although both the e-card reader and the GBA extend the game to its fullest, one can also travel to other friends' towns on their memory cards to enjoy more variations of gameplay.

Animal Crossing is very addictive. One experiences real time and the seasons. One can catch seasonal insect and fish. Your character can buy furniture and clothes in the store. You can plant flowers around town and put up signs. You arrange your house how you'd like, but try to arrange according to the game's feng shui for extra points and luck! You dig up money out of the ground, shake it out of the trees and sometimes the townsanimals will give it to you. You can design patterns for clothes and umbrellas for yourself and everyone else at the tailor shop. Travel to your island via the GBA. You can trade islands with friends, and travel to other towns via the train. Send letters via the post office to the town animals and other players in your town.  Experience the holidays and special events during the year.

Joey's Instructions for submitting your house photos for the Animal Homes site!

1. Images must be clear (well as clear as can be allowed). Blurry or dark images will not be added.

2. Images must be in .jpg format.  You can send me any size - I'll resize to approximately 340x255 pixels.

3. I need two images PER house: One, stand on the outside of the house at the sign. Hit B to view the house owner's name. Take a picture of the house with the animal's name. Then enter the house, move toward the middle to the back of the house. Take a picture of the interior. Try to get as much of the house in the picture as possible.

4. Submit the images to me entitled in this manner:  Joey_out.jpg (for the outside picture) and Joey_in.jpg (for the inside pictures)

5. Submit your images to meadowflower AT gmail DOT com (replace AT with @ and DOT with . and remove the spaces). Include your name or ID (Animal Crossing Community, Live Journal, etc.) and I'll credit your entry here.
